The RIC (Receiver-In-Canal) hearing aid Signia Cellion with primax technology contains an inductive rechargeable lithium-ion power cell for 24 hours use with unlimited streaming.
The Signia Cellion could be called the most innovative hearing aid in the world right now. It is based on the primax platform that Signia introduced at the beginning of the year and represents excellent speech understanding and significantly* reduced listening effort.
Its lithium-ion power cell is inductive, i.e. rechargeable without contact – a worldwide innovation in the hearing aid industry. This makes the Cellion especially user friendly. In addition to the short 4-hour charging time for 24 hours use with full-time audio streaming, its powercharge function provides at least seven hours of use after just 30 minutes of charging.
Also new in the hearing aid industry: The inductive charging dock can be connected via the included power supply not only directly to the power grid, but also via a standard micro-USB connection to many USB-compatible energy sources as for example car chargers.
Watch our short introduction video to see why we love our Cellion.
* Study at the University of Northern Colorado, 2015, testing the effectiveness of new features of the primax platform using an ongoing collection and analysis of data via EEG while the study participants ran language tests. A significant reduction in hearing effort was demonstrated when the primax features SPEECH and EchoShield were activated.
